Wanted Weapons Of Fate
A third-person cover-to-cover shooter, Wanted has a slick style worthy of the film, but lasts about as long. This isn’t Gears of War or a similar cover shooter that moves slowly from point to point. Wanted moves quickly with a cover system that emphasizes chaining from one piece of cover to the next with an interface that shows your available cover options. You can quickly slide behind a crate, then leap over it to a wall, then dive from there to the safety of another crate. The cover button is highly responsive and, without question, this is the one thing Wanted does that is truly excellent. The rest… not so much.

The Last Remnant

The Last Remnant
The Last Remnant is a reasonably competent RPG, combining elements from both the standard turn-based and strategy sub-genres and making a new, interesting beast from them. It’s deep if you have the time to invest in it and provides a challenge throughout. With the graphical issues from the Xbox 360 version largely absent this version is far superior despite the cringe worthy voice acting and some leftover technical issues.

Resistance Retribution
There’s no sense in beating around the bush — Resistance: Retribution is excellent. It’s got a main character you’ll connect with, an engaging single-player campaign, a crapload of unlockables, PS3 connectivity and the strongest online multiplayer I have ever seen in a PSP game. In short, you’re an idiot if you don’t buy this game.

The Wheelman
Vin Diesel is no stranger to starring in video games alongside his big-screen blockbusters. After lending his voice and face to The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay a few years ago, it’s clearly time for him to try his had at another action packed offering. We went hands-on with The Wheelman today, an open-world driving game that will set the stage for the eventual movie release.

Th3 Plan

Th3 Plan
If you’ve seen any of the recent string of heist flicks — The Italian Job, Ocean’s 13, etc. — the plot of Th3 Plan is easy enough to get into and predict. Robert Taylor (codename the Mind) and his college buddy Stephen Foster have formed a team to snag two Rembrandt paintings and sell them for a huge diamond. Things go awry during the robbery, co-cat burglar Alan Siegel (codename Poker) gets pinched, and Foster nabs one of the paintings while leaving the Mind to deal with the disaster. Jump forward five years, and the Mind busts Poker out of the pen and forms a new team to take down Foster.
